What a dogs breakfast in the Redmond sense in trying to get this widget to work. Current status as of September 6, 2011 - serious hair pulling frustration.

Let me tell you that priming and and getting this Presentation widget working was no small task. Muse has a lot of small bugs that can cause unexpected drag and drop "jumps" from where you thought things were placed.
Remember - this is beta software.

The LightBox Widget is a thumbnail triggered variation with the thumbnails on top. Unfortunately this is one of the worst behaved of the Composition widgets - even topping the Blank composition for bad or erroneous initializing and/or customizing operations.. Moucho beta bugs.

How big can this get - it appears as large as you want
Tooltips are useful when you combine them with an underlying photo - see on left. Then the user can switch between tooltips to get an ongoing story about the image.
This is great for tips and tutorial sites.
Using and editing the Composition widgets was a non-trivial execise. Part of the problem is that what the Muse Help said would work, didn't - for example, Hide all initially, Show all in design mode, and Add multiple images as targets either did not work or operated inconsistently. Remember this is beta software.
Compositions are really variations on the jQuery Lightbox routines with different triggers including thumbnails. numbered squares, and previous and next commands or icons. Despite the range of 5 tools, creating a lightbox that simply cycled among items - much like the news headlines below - but without the trigger menus turned out to be a fruitless exercise except for a kludge workaround. This area of Muse needs more work.
I like the approach that Muse has taken where users edit directly on the widget such things as captions, content, and styling as opposed to using the standard drag and drop editable property list. But it would be useful to know what object has focus - perhaps in the Transform panel. Finally there are hints of styling controls - but it is still bare bones. Fianlly forms, grids and database conections are non-existent.
