Hot Diggity Dogs Flyball ClubSaturday May 26
2 performances – 12 Noon and 2 PM
What is flyball? A fun, interactive sport for you and your dog. It is a relay race involving teams of 4 dogs, their humans, 4 jumps and a box which tosses a ball. Two lanes of dogs race side by side. The first team to have all 4 dogs complete the course wins the heat. It is fun and exciting, for the dogs, handlers and spectators!!

Hot Diggity Dogs Flyball Club was started in 1999 by Natalie and Denny Cornell. The club boasts an indoor training ring with a diverse membership from Peterborough, Belleville, Cobourg and all surrounding areas. The club competes in sanctioned flyball tournaments, traveling to Quebec and all over Ontario. They also host a summer tournament in Norwood, which attracts teams from all over Canada and the United States.

The public can enjoy the Hot Diggity Dogs at local festivals and fairs. Their popular show is booked well in advance from year to year. With cheering crowds and barking dogs, the words “Ready, Set, GO” can be heard and the excitement begins! In addition to flyball racing the dogs perform tricks and the “Puissance” high jump.
