SaasS Takes more Bites

SaaS and Web 2.0 developments have started to percolate. Take a look at the May 19th issue of Information Weeek and some of the large scale contracts that are going down in the SaaS space:|
– CocaCola and Microsoft team 35,000 seat for Microsoft hosted services using Exchange and Sharepoint over the Web
– SalesForce.com pulls down 40,00o users at Japan Post and 30,000 at Citibank
– Workda has Chiquita Brands at 26,000 seats and Flextronic at upto 200,000 seats.
The Web 2.0 Cloud is starting to pull in users in larger scale globs. Vista Bloat has no small influence on this matter.
