Document Embeds in WordPress
The most reliable embeds of PowerPoints into WordPress Posts and Pages found so far is using Google Docs viewer WordPress plugin by F.Davis.

The syntax is simple using a WordPress Shortcode with some straightforward options:

Users can control the width and height of the displayed PowerPoint as shown above or use the default values which can be changed in the WP Settings tab.
Other option codes are:
save= (optional) Enter a value (1 to show, 0 to hide) to override the default display setting for the download link.
responsive= (optional) Add authonly=”1″ to only show the download link to logged-in users on an individual file.
