During the past few weeks I have been doing a lot CSS and JavaScript development on my web pages and one thing that is emerging is that having a good DHTML debugger in the browser is absolutely essential. And the one that puts all others to shame is
the FireFox addon – FireBug. This routine has all the pro features – watches, breakpoints, and line by line debugging. Even better it pre-installs many watch variables. It is so good I suspect it is one reason that Firefox delivers some of the most compliant DHTML, JavaScript, and CSS code in my recent CSS and DOM reviews.
